Art on the Pier

In 2012, Creative Waves established Art on the Pier, an innovative outdoor gallery.

Since then it has grown in size and status, becoming a much loved cultural attraction on Worthing Pier.

 
Over the years Creative Waves have transformed the pier’s glass panels from the Amusement arcade
to the Southern Pavilion at the end of the pier. Their ‘rainbow’ installation of coloured glass creates a vibrant backdrop for inspiring exhibitions; showcasing artwork by professional and emerging artists, students and young people.

We often run creative projects in schools to give opportunities to young people to see their work displayed - Appear on the Pier. There are also fun, interactive ‘seaside cut-outs’ and displays which explore local heritage and the environment.

Worthing Borough Council has supported Art on the Pier since its inception. Exhibitions are funded through sponsorship from local businesses, organisations and funding bodies.

Please get in touch if your company would like to sponsor an exhibition or a feature. We also support and partner with other charitable organisations to promote aspects of their work in which we help by curating exhibitions to be displayed on the pier.
