Creative Waves is excited to launch 'APPEAR on the PIER' 2027

A collaborative exhibition inspired by the South Downs & the Sea.

Creative Waves' artists Nadia Chalk and Vanessa Breen will deliver the project by running creative workshops

in education settings, businesses, organisations or even for a group of friends.

Inspiring people to work as a design team to visualise the narrative of the environmental theme.

The artwork will be photographed, curated and printed onto high quality, laminated vinyl, installed on the central, window panels, on Worthing Pier's walkway on display for 2 years.

 

Project details:

Each school/group/business will be credited & have 4 panels of artwork

The *cost is £550, to include: 

• Two Arts practitioners deliver a bespoke 2hr workshop for, up to, 15 people (at venue)

• All workshop preparation and materials

• Photography, design/curation of artwork ready to print & installation on the pier

• Project management, PR and admin

 

We know budgets are extremely tight, however we know the quality and outreach of our projects are powerful, inspiring, engaging and aspirational; for each individual 

*additional costs: To hire a venue if you don't have a suitable space.  Travel/mileage costs outside of Worthing

 

The bespoke workshops are adapted to suit all ages and abilities.

Project timeline:

• Email us to reserve your gallery space asap.

• A £150 deposit will need to be paid by October 10th. 

• Workshop dates - running from mid Oct 26 - early March 27.

• £400 final payment due at time of workshops 

• Launch date - New exhibition on the pier Spring 2027 (date tbc), on display for 2 years.

• Participants invited to a press launch of the new pier exhibition (date tbc)

We are fully insured and DBS checked.
