ART ON THE PIER: May 2016 - May 2017
Our 5th annual exhibition is now on display on Worthing Pier, showcasing:
New Amusements funded by the Arts Council, England.
An exclusive exhibition of the work of Jamie Hewlett & Alan Martin,
telling their story of Tank Girl and their time working in Worthing.
East Gallery displays a fantastic collection of selected work by 50 Artists.
Very talented students from local schools designed and made
creative selfies to 'Appear on the Pier'.
First year students from Northbrook College UAL Level 3, Diploma
in Art and Design have used the Pier as a starting point to develop their
work using the theme "Elements".
Post to the Coast' new heritage exhibition, displaying postcard history
and research, plus new postcards and artwork created for the trail.
Many thanks to all the artists, school children, teachers, volunteers,
sponsors and funders........we couldn't do what we do without you.
POST TO THE COAST
A Heritage Lottery funded project researching the history of local postcards. Working with schools, community groups and artists to create 'Post to the Coast', a heritage trail that follows the coastal path from Adur to Worthing.
BUGCYCLE COMMUNITY GARDEN
We are regenerating an area in Beach House Park in partnership with Worthing Wildlife. Transforming the unused space into an exciting, educational nature garden using re-cycled objects.
